The Arizona Miner Prescott, Arizona Territory September 26th, 1866 General Mason. We have no apology for General Mason , or for any officer, military or civil, where he fails to do his duty; but as the hue and cry raised by certain parties since the General left the Territory may lead those not familiar with the movements, while here, to believe that he was wholly inactive, we print herewith a synopsis of his operations, which he furnished the Governor in December last: Headquarters District of Arizona, Prescott, December 3rd, 1865. Hon. R.C. McCormick , Acting Governor of Arizona: Sir— As requested by you I herewith send a synopsis of military operations in this District since my assignment to its command.
