helpless condition
killed a man digging

carrier, passing the well twenty four
hours after, happened to look down, and
assisted the unfortunate man to escape .
They hurried to Wickenburg, and raised
a party, who gave chase to the murder—
ers, and although they had so much the
start overtook and hung two of them.
Verdict served them right
