Military Items.
First Lieutenant Wm. J. Volkmar, 5th
Cavalry, came up from Camp Date Creek
early this week. He informs us that the
Apache-Yumas heve changed for the better.
Company E, of the 5th Cavalry, Captain
George F. Price, arrived at Fort Whipple
from Camp Date Creek, Thursday last. With
them came “Captain Tom,” and 36 other
Apache—Yunias, who are going to help
Captain Price and his men in the work of
reserving bad Apaches.
