September 5th, 1872
Mr. Pearson:
The Indians have taken all the stock out of the corral last
night, they left me on foot.
If you can get some soldiers from Date Creek, we will follow
them and see what Indians they are. I think they are Date Creek,
as they went through Pen-hatchi-pet Pass towards New Water.
