Sudden Deaths.
An express arrived at Fort Whipple on
Friday, bringing the news that Captain
Philip Dwyer, of the fifth U.S. Cavalry,
commanding Camp Date Creek, died at that
post on Thursday morning at 4½ o’clock.
The stage driver brought in news John
Cosinberry also died at the same place
on Thursday. He had been prospecting
about Weaver and Antelope and but just
arrived at the post.
