Arizona Citizen Tucson, Puma County, A.T. Saturday, June 29th, 1872 We learn from Governor Bashford and Major Brown that Adam Reisback, who was shot by the Apaches a few days ago at the Burnt Ranch, has since died. Joseph Goldwater, shot by the Apaches at Mint Valley, is in the hospital at Date Creek. It is not yet known whether his wound will prove fatal or not. The Apaches had again attempted to take the herd of sheep belonging to Bashford & Stevens- they run the herder three miles, but he succeeded in reaching the post with slight wounds in time to get assistance to save the herd. General Crook, is using every available man to the best possible advantage in order to give protection to the people.
