20164. The Arizona Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory, March 29th, 1873. A.C. Swain, recently murdered by Indians (article)

The Arizona Miner Prescott, Arizona Territory March 29th, 1873 A.C. Swain, recently murdered by Indians was a native of Georgia; aged about 40 years. He was the last of a party of some 10 brave men, who at an early date, settled at Walnut Grove, and every one of whom has been murdered by Indians. He has a brother in Texas. Geo. W. Taylor was a native of Scotland; aged about 21 years. His father and mother reside near Wickenburg, in this county, and are, we learn, well nigh crushed with grief for the loss of their beloved boy. Little is known of John McDonald; that is by us.
