The Arizona Miner
Prescott, Arizona Territory
April 10th, 1869
Indians, Troops, Etc .
Since our last , the Indians of
vicinity have been acting on their
behavior. With the exception of
plundering of one or two cabins ,
this
good
the
the
stealing of two horses from Jos. Kelsey ,
at Camp Date Creek, and a feeble attempt
to capture the mail, they have otherwise
remained inactive . Their inactivity may
be attributed to the activity of the
troops, who. of late, have scouted the
country around Date Creek and Wickenburg
pretty thoroughly.
